I'm a fan of Jool for many reasons: everything is handled by them, the people I dealt with are very kind and do their utmost, and the returns are attractive. I'm on my second investment and will make more.

FAQ

Find an answer to your questions.

How does investing with Jool work?

You lend money to Jool through a bond. Jool uses those funds to finance the purchase of electric vehicles destined for rental. In return, you earn an annual interest rate of 8 to 10%, paid monthly over 24 to 36 months.

Is my capital guaranteed?

The investment is backed by tangible assets (the electric vehicles). Capital is repaid at the end of the contract. Like any investment, it carries risks — we invite you to review our legal documentation.

What is the minimum amount to invest?

The entry ticket is set at €10,000. There are no entry fees and no management fees — 100% of the interest rate is paid back to you.

When and how am I repaid?

Interest is paid every month into your bank account. Capital is returned in full on the maturity date of the project (24 or 36 months depending on the project chosen).

What taxation applies?

Interest rates on Jool Invest are shown gross (before tax).

Individuals

  • French tax residents: interest is subject to the flat-rate withholding tax (PFU) at an overall rate of 31.4% (12.8% income tax and 18.6% social contributions), withheld at source and pre-filled in your tax return. If you qualify for an exemption, tick the corresponding box to avoid the 12.8% withholding at source (the tax is then settled through your annual return).
  • Non-French tax residents: no withholding at source; declare according to the rules of your country of residence.

Companies

  • Interest is treated as income and subject to corporate or personal income tax, depending on your legal status.

Every year in January, Jool Invest provides a tax statement (IFU) to help you fill in your return. For personalised advice, consult a tax professional.

Jool Invest is an investment platform operated by Jool Fleet (a simplified joint-stock company with variable capital, registered with the Lille Métropole Trade and Companies Register under number 104 384 649), a wholly owned subsidiary of Jool SAS. Jool Fleet issues bonds reserved for eligible subscribers — qualified investors and members of a restricted circle (within the limit of 149 people) — under the prospectus exemption provided for in Article L. 411-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code. As such, the offer gives rise to no prospectus or summary information document subject to the AMF's approval or filing ( see the investment note here ).

Bond investment carries risks including the partial or total loss of the capital invested and illiquidity (bonds are non-transferable for the entire term, with no secondary market).

Note that any investment on Jool Invest is made through a dedicated vehicle — Jool Fleet — whose exclusive purpose is holding the financed fleets of electric vehicles. Each bond tranche is backed by a specific, ring-fenced fleet: holders of a tranche have recourse only to the assets of their own tranche.
